Four Red Lights flashes on your Xbox 360 console

If you turn on your Xbox 360 console and you found the four quadrants of the ROL (Ring of Light) flashes red That's an indicator that your Xbox 360 AV cable is not connected correctly, or is not connected at all even so you need to double check it.

The best way to make sure that the AV cable is connected correctly is by unplugging it from the back of your Xbox 360 console and also from the back of your TV then reconnect them back firmly and turn on your console once more it supposed then to disappear and you get the Xbox 360 Dashboard loads then normally on the screen of your TV.

If you faced any other issue with your xbox 360 console you'll find on our help your answer if you can't find it please leave a comment with your question.

Unplug the AV and replug it back again. If you did so and still get the same four red lights, try another AV cable. If the new cable resolves the issue, this will be great. If not you'll need to contact the Xbox customer support to service your Xbox 360.

Hi there,

Basically as it's a new cable it should work unless it's not an original Xbox 360 cable created by Microsoft, or there is actually a problem with the Xbox 360 console itself.

I need you first to check the cable if it's an original one or not as we said, you'll find it written on the packaging "Created by Microsoft", also if that's not the case and you have an original cable check the lights again, sometimes it's just 3 not 4 lights but it seems to be 4 as it's reflecting on the 4th quadrant.

And I'm sorry for that but in both cases (3 or 4 lights) you'll need to contact the support team to get your console served or even you can use the link below if you are from USA or the UK to send your console.

Cheers.
